Make a Real Impact as a Psychologist
You will work with a multidisciplinary team of medical and allied health professionals to contribute to positive mental health outcomes for Australian Defence Force personnel at Robertson Health Centre. This role is currently casual with shifts on Mondays and Fridays, weekly.
As a Psychologist, you'll make a positive impact by:
* Performing intake assessments and risk assessments
* Providing crisis intervention
* Planning case formulation and treatment planning
* Providing programmatic treatment interventions
* Planning care coordination
* Performing mental health screenings
* Conducting group psycho-education
About the Role
This position involves providing comprehensive assessments and evidence-based psychological strategies under Medicare. You will work closely with a team to deliver high-quality services to defence staff and their families.
The ideal candidate will have current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a general Psychologist with AHPRA and at least 2 years of full-time (or equivalent) post-graduate experience in mental health within the last 5 years.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver clinical services to defence personnel and their families
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive mental health outcomes
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
4. Provide education and support to clients and families
Requirements
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a general Psychologist with AHPRA
* At least 2 years of full-time (or equivalent) post-graduate experience in mental health within the last 5 years
* Australian Citizenship for Baseline Security Clearance
