Early Childhood Coordinator Role Summary
The Early Childhood Coordinator will support families with children who have developmental concerns or disabilities. This role involves working closely with families to understand their child's needs and providing guidance on accessing appropriate support services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting observations and using information from screening tools and assessments to understand the impact of developmental delays or disabilities.
* Identifying and explaining the most suitable pathways for support, whether this be access to early interventions or support with applying for the NDIS.
* Supporting families to connect with local mainstream and community services such as healthcare, education, and recreation options.
