About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to participants, assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement. You will work within a supportive team, following individualized care plans to enhance the well-being and quality of life of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Support community participation, including social outings and recreational activities.
• Provide transportation assistance, including driving participants to medical appointments, school, and shopping.
• Work flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends, and evenings as part of a rotating roster.

Selection Criteria

• Minimum 1 year experience in the disability, aged care, or community health sector (essential)
• Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Current National Police Clearance (no older than 12 months)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (if applicable)
• Current Full Driver's License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (as per government requirements)

• Morning Shift
• Afternoon shifts
• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend availability
