Portsmith Fuel & Oil, a locally owned North Queensland company are seeking the services of suitably qualified Truck Drivers on a Full-time basis to join their team at their Cairns Depot. _______________________________________________
Qualifications & experience
* HC/ MC licence.
* Must have previous experience as a truck driver; fuel experience preferred
* Bulk Dangerous Goods licence
* An SLP passport
* Attention to detail and the ability complete all required paperwork
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Previous experience with Fatigue Management desirable
* The ability to work weekends, early mornings and/or evenings
Tasks & responsibilities
* Completing daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
* Complete logbook and fatigue management procedures
* Follow instructions from schedulers for daily duties, trip sheets and time-frames
* Develop positive relationships with customers
* Loading, transportation and delivery of fuels
* Ensure safety and compliance is adhered to at all times
