Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this newly created role will play a pivotal role in our Commercial Team including implementation of and acting as the product owner to continue to enhance a new contract lifecycle management tool. It will also play a key role as the designated owner for components of customer and provider experience ('micromoments'). As part of this ownership, the role is responsible for monitoring progress, liaising with internal stakeholders to agree enhancements that improve the customer and provider experience, and drive uplift in the overall NPS for each micromoment.
This role is also charged with ensuring core processes in the Commercial team are documented and maintained, while pushing for continuous improvement and system uplifts.
**How will I help?**
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide SME support into projects relating to hospital and medical contracting with health service.
- Act of the owner of assigned micromoments, including identifying opportunities to further improve and shape the member/provider experience and NPS
- Identify appropriate enhancements that can be implemented to uplift assigned micromoments
- Act as the system owner for the Contract Lifecycle Management platform and ensure that it is keep up-to-date (including contract templates, workflows and libraries of alternative clauses).
- Develop and maintain a register of alternative clauses that have been pre-approved by legal
- Develop and deliver training to the Engagement and Contract Managers on system use and functionality
- Champion the use of the platform and act as the product owner to identify a roadmap of potential enhancements that drive user experience, uptake and deliver strong provider experience.
- Act as the SME for systems used within HMP and advocates for uplifts/enhancements to improve experience, drive efficiencies and reduce complexity for users
- Partner with technology teams to understand the sizing and effort required to deliver associated changes, champion prioritisation of such changes and ensure a regular cadence of enhancements delivered to show progress across teams

**What do I need?**
- Deep understanding of the private and public health care systems and industries and the related regulatory environments.
- Significant experience (10+ years) in a healthcare environment and negotiation of complex and high value contracts with large enterprise organisations and ongoing contract management disciplines
- Proven experience with business analysis and/or product management for technology systems (desirable)
- Experience in technology product development and concepts such as Agile delivery.
- Proven ability in partnership & alliance negotiation and understanding of negotiation strategies and scenario planning
- A track record of achievement and delivery in technology system implementations
- Excellent stakeholder management (internal/external) and ability to build strong business relationships at a senior level and able to identify business development opportunities for Bupa with Hospital groups
- Tertiary qualifications are desirable and skills or training in business management, health service, project management or related disciplines.
- Exceptional written and presentation skills and the ability to convert data into insight and prepare compelling, persuasive reports and presentations suitable for executive and board level content
