Account Manager

As an Account Manager within the Hilti Energy & Industry team, you will have direct customer contact with the existing customer base and a proactive role in identifying new customers. This role focuses on the South Australian Mining, Oil & Gas and Shipbuilding Industries, with a goal of making our customers more productive, safe and sustainable.
Based in Adelaide, you will be required to travel to Port Augusta & Whyalla for 5-10 days each month, fully paid by the business.
What You'll Do
Field sales and high-level customer consultation within the Mining, Oil & Gas and Shipbuilding industries.
Perform customer calls as specified in the sales execution policy through pragmatic utilisation of time and territory management systems.
Identify new business opportunities.
Negotiate trade agreements to secure and maximize profitability for the customer's portfolio.
Regular travel to remote areas to improve Hilti's coverage, penetrate existing mine sites, and capitalize on construction activity.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative or a customer-facing role.
Experience working within the Construction and Mining Industries is advantageous.
Tertiary qualification is a plus.
Solution selling and customer-centric approach.
A valid Australian driver's license.
Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is desirable.
Motivated & capable of working independently, managing your own call cycle.
Strong discipline, with the ability to manage accounts remotely and build relationships.
Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with advanced planning skills.
