Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.
We are currently looking to fill 1 permanent part time position.
Minimum 24 hours per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities Provide behavioural support and follow behaviour management plans for 3 participants Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication prompting Engage in client hobbies such as concerts, swimming and dancing Transport clients to appointments and day programs Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families Promote client choice and independence in all interactions Skills & Experience An unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 Successful candidates will be required to clear all state based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
