This is a rare opportunity to step into a foundational leadership role where you'll shape how a new fibre network is delivered, operated and commercialised.
About the Role
This role will lead the rollout and operation of a wholesale Layer 2 fibre network across large greenfield developments. You'll be responsible for establishing the operational frameworks, partnerships and systems required to deliver a scalable and commercially sustainable network platform.
Working closely with executive leadership, you'll oversee network rollout, service provider onboarding, and the operational infrastructure needed to support ongoing growth.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead the end-to-end rollout of fibre infrastructure across new residential developments
* Establish operational frameworks, governance, and delivery processes for network deployment and operations
* Build and manage relationships with Retail Service Providers (RSPs), supporting onboarding, provisioning and service delivery
* Oversee contractor engagement, network operations, service assurance and backhaul/interconnect arrangements
* Guide the selection and implementation of OSS/BSS platforms and operational systems
* Ensure network delivery remains commercially efficient, balancing capex investment with long-term network performance
* Build a scalable operational model capable of supporting both internal developments and future external growth
What We're Looking For
* 8–12+ years' experience in telecommunications, with strong exposure to fibre networks or wholesale telecom environments
* Experience working with Layer 2 wholesale models and partnering with RSPs
* Background delivering or operating fibre networks, particularly in greenfield or large-scale deployments
* Strong understanding of the Australian telecommunications market and wholesale network frameworks
* Experience managing contractors, service assurance processes and network operations environments
* Familiarity with OSS/BSS platforms and telecom operational systems
