Job Description
The Financial Controller will be responsible for but not limited to :
* Oversee and manage financial operations and reporting processes.
* Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational objectives.
* Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
* Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals to achieve departmental goals.
* Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have :
* Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Strong experience in financial management within the FMCG space
* Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
* Thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
