Role description
We are seeking an experienced Claims Assessor / Team Lead / Manager to join our team on a hybrid basis in either Sydney or Melbourne.
This role involves overseeing the management of insurance claims, handling claim assessments, and ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Analysing claims data
* Communicating with clients
* Coordinating with internal departments to resolve claims efficiently
* Managing and mentoring a team to deliver high-quality claims operations
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in Income Protection (IP) or Life Insurance or Workers Compensation claims
* Proven experience in Claims Management or Insurance Claims
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
* Highly detail-oriented and proactive
* Prior insurance industry experience (preferred)
