About The Opportunity
St Peter Claver College, Riverview, is seeking a dedicated HPE Teacher to join our team. Candidates with the ability to teach Religious Education will be viewed favourably.
Responsibilities
* Creating a nurturing, learner-centered environment aligned with curriculum policies and practices.
* Collaboratively developing, implementing and evaluating quality curriculum programs and pedagogy; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes to students, parents and the community.
* Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff to foster a positive school culture.
* Proactively engaging in professional learning to enhance student outcomes.
* Establishing positive relationships in pastoral care and supporting students' spiritual and moral development.
* Ensuring that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
About You
* Experienced in creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
* Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
* Committed to engaging with colleagues, students and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve best outcomes.
* A passion for supporting students' spiritual and moral development.
* Ability to teach Religious Education as well as HPE is considered an advantage.
* No requirement to be Catholic.
Eligibility & Safeguarding Requirements
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
* Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
