About this opportunity
We are currently looking for a motivated and hard working applicant, to join and lead the meat department.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for the management of a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!
Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
* Possess an Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
* Ability to lead and manage a team
* Ability to order and control costs
* An understanding of gross profit calculations
* Passion and enthusiasm, with a very \"hands on\" approach
* Unparalleled commitment to customer service
* Excellent communication skillsAbility to liaise with both team members and management
* A flair for merchandising
