We are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Storeperson and Delivery Driver to join our team in the Emerald branch. This role is responsible for ensuring that goods receivable, deliveries and inventories are managed and distributed in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
Job Description
This full-time position will involve:
* Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders
* Inventory control, goods receipt, dispatch and associated paperwork
* Maintaining safety processes
A typical day may look like:
You will be reporting to the Branch Manager and working closely with the team to ensure all client's needs are met. You will also have the opportunity to work independently and take ownership of your tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You will also need to possess:
* A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
* Forklift ticket and HR licence
