Administration Officer - Medical Secretary
Employment Type: Permanent – Part Time / Permanent Full Time (Job Share may be considered).

Remuneration: $75,****** – $76,****** per annum / $***** – $***** per hour (plus superannuation & salary packaging options).
Location: Orange, NSW.
Hours per week: up to 38.

About The Role
Provide administration and clerical support to managers and their teams within the Orange Health Service Medical Secretary Units, supporting the Renal Unit, Haematology Unit and Rehab Unit.
Work closely with clinical teams to facilitate the smooth operation of the service and support the community's healthcare journey.
The Administration Officer plays an integral part in achieving the district's goal of building healthier rural people and thriving communities.
Responsibilities
Perform general administrative duties for assigned units, including managing schedules, documentation and correspondence.
Support clinical teams by coordinating appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling communication with patients and families.
Prepare and manage documentation, reports and quality improvement records.
Assist with data entry and management of health service information systems.
Provide clerical support for unit activities such as meetings, training and health promotion events.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma, tertiary education or comparable experience in administrative roles.
Experience in a medical or health services environment preferred.
Strong organisational, communication and computer skills.
Capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated commitment to an inclusive workforce.
