Your Impact
As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart, you will be dedicated to giving children the best possible start to their school journey. Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
* Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart policies, procedures, and requirements.
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
* Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team.
* Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
* Contribute to a professional and positive work culture.
Eligibility and Requirements
* Must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare will still be eligible.
* Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen with a valid passport (and have been a resident in Australia for more than 6 months). Visa holders must be able to work and study in Australia, and the duration of the traineeship must match the length of the visa.
* Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
* Permanent right to work in Australia.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
* Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
* Interest in early years education.
* Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) (or willingness to receive).
