We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Op Shop Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the volunteers and daily operations of the op shop, focusing on generating a valuable income for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the volunteers and daily operations of the op shop.

2. Generate a valuable income for the organisation.
\
3. Represent the team and brand through your passion for all things preloved and second-hand.
\
4. Train and support volunteers.
\
5. Drive sales to achieve set targets.
\
6. Maintain a high level of customer service.
\
7. Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store.
\
8. Direct and monitor the daily register opening & closing procedures.
\
9. Maintain and periodically review the shop's pricing list.
\
10. Supervise & provide direction to a small team.
\
11. Work closely with the Store Manager and Area Manager, to support the goals and mission of the organisation.
\
12. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue.
\
13. Manage and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
\
14. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
\
15. Recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers.
\
16. Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management.
\
17. Process cash handling and banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
\
18. Implement and manage effective waste reduction and recycling practices.
\
19. Perform other related duties as required.
\
20. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as necessary.
\
21. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
\
22. Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
\
23. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, donors and community groups.
\
24. Participate in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
\
25. Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
\
26. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
\
27. Contribute to the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.
\
28. Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
