Business Services Administration Assistant
The Business Services team plays a crucial role in creating an environment that supports staff to ensure positions and programs work efficiently.
The team is responsible for establishing systems, procedures, and registers to meet the demands of a growing organisation.
They monitor the effective use and renewal of resources and manage TeamHEALTH information.
As a member of the Business Services team, the Business Administration Assistant contributes to ensure business support activities are highly functional and responsive.
Duties may include answering phones, managing shared email inboxes, assisting staff with enquiries, maintaining secretariat duties for meetings, and other administrative tasks.
They provide backup support to identified positions within the Business Services team.
The Business Administration Assistant exercises initiative in applying established work procedures and manages work to meet key deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing administrative support in a small to medium sized business, including preparation of correspondence, financial reconciliation, logistics management, and data entry.
* Utilizing computer systems, including email and MS Office Suite, and being willing to learn other systems as required.
* Exhibiting excellent written and oral communication and consultation skills to interact with diverse people.
* Managing workload in a busy environment and prioritizing to meet deadlines.
* Analyzing problems, exercising good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality, and striving for continuous quality improvement.
* Working in a flexible and innovative approach, demonstrating willingness to assist others and work within a team.
