About the role
As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in translating business needs into practical, scalable, and secure technology solutions that enhance member value and support organisational objectives. At RACQ, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end solution architectures that align with enterprise standards, integrating systems and platforms to deliver seamless member experiences, and ensuring technical integrity throughout the solution lifecycle. Working closely with stakeholders across business and technology domains, you will enable innovation, drive delivery efficiency, and ensure that solutions are fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, and adaptable to future needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and documentation of enterprise-grade solution architecture across multiple domains.
* Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.
* Ensure solution architectures are delivered successfully by managing the target state design, adhering to architectural standards, security policies, and best practices.
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring and comprehensive guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools to support strategic initiatives.
* Maintain a strong understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends.
* This is a permanent full-time position.
About you
* Proven experience in solution architecture across complex enterprise environments with a strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., TOGAF).
* Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and integration patterns.
* Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence others.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with a talent for presenting complex ideas, clearly.
* Relevant certifications in cloud or architecture disciplines are highly desirable.
