The Registered Nurse: Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals.
The Team:
The North West Cancer Centre, Burnie, provides comprehensive specialist outpatient Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Clinical Haematology Services to the North West Tasmanian Community.
* The NWCC plays an active role in cancer education and research within Tasmania.
* It is affiliated with the Northern Cancer Service, situated in the North West Regional Hospital complex, providing access to medical, surgical, and hospital services for quality, person-centred cancer care.
The Role:
The Registered Nurse:
* Provides safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals to improve health outcomes.

Details of appointment:
Fixed-term, part-time, day worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, from 26 July 2025 until 29 November 2025.
*Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Note: This selection process may be used for similar vacancies for twelve months from the date of publication.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum, pro rata, with an Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution.
* The salary range aligns with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range ($99,455 to $105,995) is available upon successful application for progression to Grade 4.
Additional allowances may include:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type (RN).
