Our client is a leading (FMCG) company based in central Melbourne. Their commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers has established them as trusted brand in the industry. Due to some internal movement, they are seeking Production Scheduler to join the team on a part-time basis, working Monday and Friday (2 days). This may increase over time but is 2 days per week currently. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours or who holds a student visa and wishes to gain valuable experience within the FMCG sector.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the production team to develop and maintain the production schedule, ensuring optimal resource utilization and meeting production targets.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure a smooth flow of materials for production.
- Analyse demand forecasts and adjust production schedules as needed to accommodate changing market requirements.
- Communicate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
- Generate reports and maintain accurate production records for future reference.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a production related role in planning or operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
