**About the Role**
BGIS is seeking a dedicated **Stores Person**to support our Facilities team by managing stock, logistics, and warehousing functions efficiently. This role requires a flexible and adaptable approach to ensure full compliance with BGIS policies and procedures while meeting business needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Efficiently receive, distribute, and organize stock/spares within designated areas.
- Perform daily replenishment of delivered stock items across multiple locations.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and update inventory levels accordingly.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate reorders as required.
- Provide administrative support related to stock management and deliveries.
- Ensure full compliance with BGIS Quality, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and Environmental Management Systems.
**Qualifications & Experience**Essential**:
- High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Current manual Driver's Licence.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg as required.
- Experience in warehouse environments, including stock picking, put-away procedures, and stocktake processes.
- Knowledge of receipting goods on delivery.
- Strong administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage various duties efficiently
**Desiable**
- Forklift Licence.
- Experience with stock management systems.
- Knowledge of financial processes related to stock management.
