John Flynn Private Hospital has a fantastic new opportunity for a dynamic leader to step into a key position within our administration team.
As the Administration Team Leader, you will manage, lead, guide and support the medical records team. You will oversee and participate in all admins operational aspects of Medical Record Auditing, Medical Information Processing, Medical Information, Medical Record Reviews, Medical Record Analysis, Patient Medical Record Software.
This is a key leadership position which will see the successful candidate:
* Provide training, support, assistance and leadership to administrative staff
* Willingness and ability to jump into admin roles where required
* Act as a resource person
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff
* Assist with preparation of rosters, manage sick calls and help ensure effective use of staff resources to meet KPI's
* Ensure a high level of customer service and confidentiality is maintained in the unit
* Encourage a supportive and positive team environment
* Other duties as directed by the Health Information Manager
About You
You are a proactive and people focused leader with strong communication and customer service skills and a keen eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative and ensuring seamless operations. Your ability to motivate and support your team will see you succeed in this dynamic leadership role.
You will also demonstrate:
* Ability to manage a team, preferably within a health care environment
* Demonstrated ability to successfully manage individuals and work groups/Rosters for a large team
* Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to changes
* Ability to achieve quality outcomes for all stakeholders
* Understanding of Medical terminology
* Experience using Meditech or similar patient administration software highly desirable
Remuneration
$40.12 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
* Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
* According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
