About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Machinist to join our Bibra Lake team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work and enjoys the variety that comes with a busy general engineering workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate manual lathes to required specifications
* Perform general machining using mills, drills and other workshop equipment
* Read and interpret technical drawings
* Measure, inspect and verify tolerances using precision instruments
* Assist with repair, maintenance and fabrication tasks as required
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience operating manual lathes (essential)
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Forklift licence and overhead crane experience (ideal but not essential)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
* Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* Commitment to workplace safety
