The projects include bulk and detailed earthworks and civil works for large residential subdivisions.
These roles require candidates with strong leadership skills to achieve required outcomes, whilst maintaining a positive, productive attitude and good project morale.Responsibilities will includeLeading the production, support and delivery of the projects in line with time, cost, and quality and compliance requirementsEffective programming of daily site worksCoordination of employees, subcontractors, plant and equipmentProvide advice, direction and support to the project staffEnsure compliance with WHS policies and proceduresEssential Skills and AttributesPrevious experience in subdivision projects or local government projects, including site and project management experience.Relevant "from the ground up" civil construction experience in a supervisory capacityExceptional individual and team leadership and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to coach/mentor their leading hands, plant operators and labourersAn ability to manage and achieve corporate and client objectivesHigh level planning, budgeting, reporting and analytical expertiseUnderstanding of regulatory, governance and community requirementsSuccessfully developed and delivered project management plans and systemsAn ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environmentRelationship management, conflict management and resolution and problem-solving expertise, with an ability to think outside the boxA commitment to developing and maintaining a culture of safety and health above all else.What's next?
