Mine Closure Consultant wanted.
We are seeking a Principal Closure Consultant to deliver mine closure support for our clients.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing duties and responsibilities as a Senior company representative delivering mine closure support for our clients as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform duties and responsibilities as a Senior company representative delivering mine closure support for our clients as required.
* Peer review company reports and other deliverables.
* Develop business opportunities for our organization with previous, current, and new clients.
* Develop proposals and provide deliverables to our clients that provide excellent client support on time and within budget.
* Support business development by attending conferences and presenting technical papers, which may require domestic and international travel.
Requirements:
To be considered for the role you will have:
* An undergraduate degree in engineering or natural/physical sciences (pre-requisite) and preferably, a post-graduate qualification in a related field, including but not limited to hydrogeology/hydrology, geochemistry, engineering (civil/geo) or environmental management.
* 15 or more years' relevant experience at a Principal capacity.
* A strong understanding of the legislative framework surrounding mine closure in Australia and/or New Zealand.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and experience, and/or mentoring small teams.
* Strong project management skills including management of cross discipline project teams.
* Well developed report writing skills.
* A willingness to travel to remote sites for project engagements.
