We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Safety Advisor.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are implemented and maintained across our operations.
* You will work closely with site managers to coordinate and participate in safety audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing new systems where necessary.
* You will be responsible for the ongoing management of site health, first response, and emergency plans, ensuring that all relevant documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
* You will conduct formal alcohol and drug testing on site as required, liaising with medical officials and institutions to ensure that all testing is conducted in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
* Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety;
* Extensive knowledge of safety and environmental legislation, policies, and practices;
* Well-developed report writing and analytical skills;
* Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills;
