Nexus Care Services Ltd is currently recruiting Senior Carers to join our team. The key responsibilities include communicating effectively with clients/service users, the Nexus management team, and carers to ensure the delivery of person-centred care that keeps clients comfortable and safe.
The Senior Carer will assist with the administration and maintenance of Client Care Plans under the supervision of Operations Managers. They are expected to maintain clinical records accurately and timely, serving as role models and mentors to other carers.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting clients in their own homes with personal care.
2. Completing Care Plan documentation and electronic data entries as required.
3. Maintaining MARS charts (digital) and Task Sheets to ensure proper medication administration as prescribed by GPs and packed by pharmacies.
4. Reporting concerns directly to Operations Managers and documenting them in the Care Plan.
5. Supervising carers in the field, working collaboratively, and assisting with double-up calls when needed.
6. Performing spot checks under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
7. Attending training courses and contributing to safety and quality improvements.
8. Participating in one-to-one reviews and client reviews as required.
9. Supervising, training, and shadowing new carers as directed by management.
10. Collecting and uploading month-end paperwork, including MARS audits.
11. Working in the office using company systems when required; training will be provided.
