Job Purpose

To manage all day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring maximum sales and efficient operations, and to report directly to the Director of HR & Operations on all matters.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Sales and Reporting

* Drive maximum sales, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded, and lead others to do the same.
* Break down sales targets to weekly and daily individual targets.
* Produce timely and quality reports for Head Office (HO) including staff attendance, leave balances, payroll adjustments, customer feedback, maintenance, and employee performance.
* Submit daily sales reports and other required reports to HO in the required format and within set timelines.

Staff Management

* Monitor staff performance and collaborate with the Director of HR & Operations on people management decisions.
* Train, develop, motivate, and incentivize staff.
* Conduct supervision and appraisal of staff where appropriate.
* Plan staff working hours and coordinate leave, ensuring appropriate cover.
* Ensure staff adhere to the appropriate dress code and presentation standards, including ordering uniforms and badges.

Inventory Management

* Take responsibility for all inventory management.
* Conduct daily inventory checks.
* Answer all HO queries regarding stock.
* Monitor size availability and arrange stock transfers if required.
* Ensure receiving and sending stock meets KPIs.
* Manage the supply of shopping bags, tags, barcodes, and hangers.
* Ensure the store is well supplied with office necessities.

Store Presentation and Maintenance

* Ensure the store is presented in line with Company quality standards at all times.
* Visual merchandise the store and adhere to window display instructions.
* Ensure goods are well displayed, tidy, and ironed.
* Manage and maintain the store and its equipment.
* Ensure the store is clean and tidy at all times.
* Coordinate and supervise maintenance repairs and improvements with the store maintenance provider, even outside of store opening hours.

Customer Service

* Provide excellent customer service to meet Company quality standards.
* Handle customer complaints efficiently.
* Conduct customer service feedback surveys and collect customer feedback.
* Maintain a customer database with provided details.

Health & Safety and Policy Adherence

* Adhere to all health & safety procedures, including those of the mall.
* Communicate information between mall management, Store Manager, and HO.
* Ensure staff are up to date and compliant with all Company policies and procedures.
* Open and close the store as required.
* Report any issues directly to the Director of HR & Operations to problem-solve and find the best course of action.
