Overview
Redeemed Care is seeking 3 Aged or Disabled Carers who will provide direct personal care and support to elderly persons and people with disability in accordance with individual care plans. The role supports clients' physical wellbeing, emotional health, independence and social participation while maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and aged care regulations.
Responsibilities
* Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
* Supporting mobility and transfers using appropriate manual handling techniques
* Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where required
* Monitoring health conditions and reporting changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals
* Administering or assisting with medication under supervision and in line with care plans
* Supporting clients with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry and shopping
* Providing emotional support and companionship
* Implementing individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies
* Maintaining accurate daily progress notes, incident reports and documentation
* Supporting clients to access community activities and appointments
* Ensuring WHS compliance and safeguarding vulnerable persons
Essential Requirements
* AQF Certificate III or higher qualification in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or related field
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience in aged care or disability support
* Knowledge of person-centred care principles
* Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and safeguarding requirements
* Current National Police Clearance
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check (if required)
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Valid WA Driver's Licence
Employment Conditions
