Collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team, you’ll explore integrated solutions, offer thoughtful perspectives, and partner with clients to help them build a more sustainable world.**What You’ll Be Doing**This role is based in Brisbane, managing the delivery of key components of process engineering projects within the energy and resources sectors. You will provide specialist technical expertise and advice to key projects and other professional and technical staff to ensure successful delivery within time, quality, cost, and stakeholder expectations.Key Responsibilities:* Lead process design, safety assessments, and risk management across complex resources and energy projects.* Manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing.* Develop and review key process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, specifications, and process safety documentation.* Support project delivery from concept selection, feasibility and FEED through detailed design, construction, and commissioning.* Drive continuous improvement, best-practice engineering standards, and adoption of digital engineering tools.* Build strong client relationships and provide expert guidance on technical and contractual matters.We know today's complex challenges can only be solved through diverse teams, so there will be opportunities to apply your skills across geographies and markets.**What You’ll Bring**You blend technical knowledge with empathy and big-picture thinking. You're someone who thrives in dynamic environments, builds meaningful connections, and is motivated by purposeful work.* 9+ years of process engineering experience across hydrocarbons, power, resources, and green energy projects.* Strong expertise in process design, process safety, and risk management for major and technically complex projects.* Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver multidisciplinary work across all project phases.* Strong capability in process modelling (HYSYS, UniSim and Fluid flow)* Strong experience in equipment sizing, technical problem-solving, and data-driven design decisions.* Experience with upstream processing facilities and flow assurance and surge analysis is an advantage (AFT, Bently, PipeSim)* Experience producing and reviewing drawings, schematics, 3D models, and engineering documentation while closing design gaps with stakeholders.* Experience attending / leading the design workshops such as HAZOP, LOPA, Design reviews.* Committed to delivering safe, sustainable, compliant, and practical engineering outcomes.* Relevant qualifications such as Process or Chemical Engineering and professional memberships (Engineers Australia, iChemE, RPEQ)**How We Support Your Growth**At Aurecon, no two career journeys are the same.
