About the role:
As the Fabrication Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of a busy workshop, covering fabrication, profiling, and painting activities. Your role will include:
* Leading and mentoring a team of tradespeople and apprentices
* Ensuring a strong safety culture and compliance with WHS standards
* Managing workflow, quality assurance, and resource planning
* Building strong client and supplier relationships
* Identifying and implementing process improvements in line with lean principles
What you'll need to succeed:
* Trade qualification: Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication (or equivalent)
* Proven supervisory experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment
* Excellent time management, leadership, and communication skills
* High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving ability
* Forklift ticket
* Driver's licence
* Solid computer skills for planning, reporting, and communications
