We provide a supportive environment with ongoing training and opportunities for career growth.About the RoleWe're looking for a friendly, tech-savvy Service Desk Technician to support our clients with day-to-day IT issues. Based in our Wyong office (with occasional travel), you'll help troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems while providing great customer service.No two days are the same — you’ll work with a variety of clients and technologies, all while learning from a supportive team. If you love helping people and solving problems, we’d love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 1/2 customer-facing technical support via phone, remote access, and on-siteTroubleshoot IT issues (hardware, software, networking)Log and track service tickets in alignment with SLAInstall and configure desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipmentOccasionally assist with on-site workEscalate complex issues when neededDocument processes and proceduresTechnical Skills & Attributes1–3 years of IT support experience in a helpdesk or MSP environmentBasic networking and Microsoft Windows skillsWilling to learn and take direction from experienced IT professionalsA genuine interest in technologyStrong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitudeGood problem-solving abilitiesWorks well independently or as part of a team and takes ownership of tasksMust be punctual and committedStrong documentation habitsBonus SkillsExperience with remote management tools (e.g., Ninja)IT certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA A+, TAFE)Microsoft 365 AdministrationExperience with cloud-based technologiesInterest or experience in cybersecurity frameworksRequirementsCurrent driver’s licenseWilling to undergo police checkPersonal and professional referencesMust have the right to work in AustraliaWhat We OfferFriendly, team-oriented cultureTraining and career advancement opportunitiesVaried work with a mix of remote and hands-on supportCompetitive salary – remuneration is dependent upon experience and hours agreed (preferably full-time, but will work with the right candidate)If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you!Please submit your resume and a short cover letter telling us why you'd be a great addition to the Computence team.
