About the Role and Team
There has never been a better time to join Hall & Wilcox as we continue to expand our firm's presence on the Whole of Australian Government Legal Services Panel. We now have an opportunity for an experienced senior corporate and commercial lawyer with 5‑9 years of post‑admission experience to work with a highly regarded partner based in Melbourne.
In this role you will work on a range of commercial law matters, including commercial contracting, major projects and government procurement and probity matters, for both Commonwealth and Victorian government departments and agencies.
About You
* Minimum 5 years of post‑admission experience.
* Experience in commercial law, especially commercial contracting, government procurement, projects and/or probity.
* Background working for or with the Department of Defence and/or the Victorian Government highly regarded.
* Commonwealth security clearance at NV1, NV2 or baseline.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
* Confidence to run matters end‑to‑end and handle a busy workload with competing timelines.
