Enchanted Adventure is seeking a driven and capable professional to join our team as Assistant Café Manager.
Reporting directly to the Café Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operation of the Café. This is a hands-on position where you will lead from the front—setting the standard, guiding the team, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service and operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the leadership, performance, and coordination of the Café team, ensuring accountability and high standards at all times
* Overseeing daily operations across the kitchen, food preparation, and barista functions to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency
* Upholding and actively enforcing food safety, health, and compliance standards across all areas
* Driving the completion of daily and weekly processes with precision and attention to detail
* Leading by example to deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Enchanted Adventure standards
* Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of Café products, services, and systems
* Coordinating and executing group bookings including Birthday Parties, Social, Corporate, and Community events
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where initiative, ownership, and sound decision-making are essential.
Previous experience in hospitality or a similar operational environment is highly desirable, but not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead people, take responsibility, and deliver consistent results.
You are a confident and proactive leader who can motivate, train, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance. You are comfortable making decisions, stepping up when needed, and maintaining composure under pressure.
You demonstrate strong customer focus, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the initiative to identify and resolve issues before they escalate. A genuine interest in understanding all aspects of the business will enable you to contribute beyond your core responsibilities.
This is a part-time opportunity suited to an established leader or an emerging leader ready to step up and take on greater responsibility.
Enchanted Adventure is a multi-award-winning eco-adventure park located on the Mornington Peninsula, offering unique outdoor experiences for families, couples, schools, and corporate groups. Set across 25 acres of beautifully maintained gardens, we specialise in Tree Surfing and Tube Sliding adventures.
