We’re looking for a reliable and capable Reception / Guest Services team member to join our beachfront accommodation business in Mooloolaba.
This role is 2–3 days per week (approx. 2–2.5 days standard, up to 3), with Saturday (9-3pm) availability essential.
About the Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for guests and responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of reception. This is not a passive role — you need to be switched on, proactive, and able to manage things without being micromanaged, while also creating a friendly, welcoming experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Guest check-ins and check-outs
* Handling bookings, enquiries, and phone calls
* Managing reservations through our booking system
* Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance
* General reception and admin duties

* Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
* Calm under pressure and good with problem-solving
Experience
* Entry-level applicants welcome (ideal for someone studying tourism/hospitality)
* Previous reception or accommodation experience is a plus
* Resly experience = highly regarded (big advantage)
