 
        
        Key Government Relations Position
The role of the Manager in this key position is to oversee a small team responsible for delivering the legislative program, coordinating responses to Ministerial correspondence and managing the relationship with the Government.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Delivering the legislative program.
 * Providing high-level authoritative advice on Government, parliamentary and legislative processes.
 * Coordinating and preparing briefs and submissions for the Treasury, Treasurer and Cabinet.
 * Participating in significant projects.
Requirements:
 * A demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor team members and play a leading role in legislative, management, cultural and work practice reform.
 * Expertise in developing policy proposals and primary and subordinate legislation, preferably in a taxation or regulatory environment.
 * Excellent communication skills to consult with stakeholders, negotiate outcomes and prepare briefs and correspondence.
 * Ability to contribute to corporate and strategic objectives through participation in corporate projects and governance forums.
