The Company

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Pricing you will shape the pricing and commercial approach to customer agreements, ensuring a strong balance between competitiveness and sustainable margin. Partnering closely with Sales and Business Development, you'll turn complex financial dynamics into clear, practical deal strategies.

You'll support the growth of the B2B portfolio by analysing deal structures, evaluating financial outcomes, and guiding decisions with data-led insight. Working cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Sourcing, and Legal, you'll help ensure every agreement is commercially sound, scalable, and aligned to long‐term business performance. Your stakeholder engagement skills will need to be exceptional.

Key Responsibilities
* Build and refine financial models to test pricing scenarios and develop tailored P&Ls that clearly outline deal value and incentive impact
* Analyse key margin drivers and cost components to generate insight‐led recommendations that improve commercial outcomes
* Evolve pricing frameworks and controls to maintain a strong balance between competitiveness and sustainable returns
* Partner with Sales to model scenarios and quantify how changes in volume or terms influence deal performance
* Track competitor activity and broader market shifts to highlight risks and inform strategic responses
* Ensure all pricing decisions align with internal standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
* Drive efficiency by improving pricing processes, including automation and optimisation of tools and data systems
Skills and Requirements
* Over three years' experience in B2B pricing analysis ideally across retail, FMCG, supported by a degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline.
* Advanced capability in Excel for complex modelling and large datasets, with strong SQL skills for data extraction, preferably within cloud‐based environments.
* Solid financial understanding paired with strong business judgement, with the ability to synthesise data from various sources into clear, value‐driven recommendations.
* Confident communicator who can translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
* Familiar with tools such as Salesforce (including CPQ), Tableau or Power BI, and experienced in working with googlesheets and SAP for data accuracy and management.
* Able to prioritise and deliver across multiple initiatives in a fast‐moving, target‐driven environment, even where there is uncertainty.
* Proactive and improvement‐focused, with a track record of streamlining processes, leveraging automation, and driving more efficient ways of working.
