Assistant Executive Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our high-achieving Housekeeping Team. The successful candidate will be employed on a full-time basis, working closely with the Housekeeping Manager and Executive Housekeeper to oversee all housekeeping staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect rooms cleaned by Room Attendants to ensure adherence to Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa standards.
* Liaise closely with the Front Office department regarding room status.
* Ensure productivity and daily schedules are met.
* Assist in training new staff to guarantee correct cleaning procedures and chemical usage.
* Provide professional and helpful service to all guests.
* Manage and execute concerns or queries from guests related to the housekeeping department.
* Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper on recruitment requirements, staff disciplinary action, and performance management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous management experience in a commercial cleaning environment.
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
* Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
* Prior experience in a similar resort or hotel environment highly regarded.
