Your key responsibilities:
* Precisely cutting and preparing meat for retail display.
* Setting up and packing down the display to the highest standards.
* Delivering friendly and professional service to every customer.
* Contributing to a strong and collaborative team culture.
* Managing stock control, product margins, and labour efficiency.
* Ensuring compliance with PrimeSafe, HACCP, WH&S, and QA standards.
What we are looking for in you:
* A Certificate III in Meat Processing (Butchery) or equivalent trade qualification.
* Proven experience as a retail butcher, ideally within a high-volume or premium environment with a minimum 3 years experience.
* Strong knife skills with the ability to cut, trim, and prepare a wide variety of meats to specification.
* Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
* Excellent attention to detail, presentation, and consistency in product preparation.
* A positive attitude with strong communication skills and a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
* Reliability, teamwork, and the flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends.
