This key role involves coordinating janitorial staff, supervising employees, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining safety standards, managing supplies, and communicating effectively with staff and building management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate tasks across shifts for timely completion.
* Train staff on janitorial procedures and equipment.
* Distribute supplies and ensure quality service.
* Inspect work and follow up on assignments.
* Cross-train staff for multiple roles.
* Conduct weekly reports and inspections.
* Hold staff meetings to review progress and upcoming projects.
* Secure buildings post-cleaning.
Requirements:
* A strong work ethic and initiative.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to motivate staff and understand budgeting concepts.
* Organizational and time management skills.
* The ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A college degree.
* 1-2 years supervisory experience in housekeeping or service fields with high customer contact.
