We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manager to join our Cairns Store in a Permanent Full Time position. You will be provided with uniforms, training and paid ABOVE award rates!
The Cairns opening hours are Monday to Saturday (NO nights)
Responsibilities
* As the Store Manager you will be: Responsible for ensuring the Cairns store operates safely and effectively at all times
* Delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.
* Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone keeping them informed of promotional activity and to gain an understanding of their business needs and wants.
* You will also perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
* Using Pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
* Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.
Qualifications
* A strong Customer Service background in a store environment- hospitality, retail or similar
* Demonstrate a high level of competence in managing retail store operations
* Sound working knowledge of safety management and improvement
* An Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines
* Strong skills in people management and customer engagement
* This is a physical role with lifting up to 32kg for our heaviest tin of paint
* We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder, who will work alongside a great team providing an exceptional in-store customer experience. Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must engaging with customers from the construction industry and assisting them with their needs.
