Role Summary:
This is a Clinical Nurse Educator position at a leading hospital. The successful candidate will provide support and clinical development/training to staff while fostering a preceptor/mentor role.
Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for formulating, coordinating, and evaluating unit-based educational programs. This involves assessment and demonstration of clinical procedures to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based care.
The aim of this position is to build the capacity of individuals to deliver high-quality patient care through reflective practice and continual improvement.
1. The ideal candidate will have current nursing registration with AHPRA and relevant post-registration experience in Anaesthetics.
2. A relevant clinical or education post-registration qualification is desirable, but not essential.
3. The successful candidate will have the ability to plan, conduct, and evaluate unit-based education.
They must be able to work a Monday to Friday roster and have experience in Anaesthetics. A Master's degree in Education would be an advantage, but it's not a requirement.
