**Job Role**
The Compliance Coordinator reports to the Quality Manager. The role is to drive, maintain, coordinate, and monitor the Site Compliance Programs, support operations and support functions and deliver on QA KPI's and requirements.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Ensure compliance to our Food Safety Plan and improve the plan where able; including but not limited to Prerequisite Programs, CCP's and QCP's
- Coordinate and perform QA training across the site.
- Foster and ensure synergy with all Departments, offering a seamless delivery of quality products and services.
- Manage and maintain our Internal Auditing System, Approved Supplier Program, Product Compliance and Maintenance management systems.
- Support and maintain the Compliance requirements of our NPD systems and Site-Wide Document Control Systems.
- Develop, implement and coordinate special programs and projects related to quality control/ assurance; including but not limited to: Waste Reductions / Cost Out Initiatives, COGS initiatives, and other CI initiatives to deliver on product outcomes.
- Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing and stakeholders in obtaining high-quality ingredients and ensuring Approved Supplier status
- Liaise with all departments and stakeholders to achieve outcomes that are necessary for food safety or quality or for wider True Foods purposes.
- Coordinate and perform validation and verification activities as required, whether ongoing or once-off activities
- Provide on-site monitoring and technical assistance to stakeholders when new processes or products are introduced into Production including but not limited to the generation of necessary production forms, assistance with sampling/testing, ensuring compliance to standards/regulations or the communication of information
- Work with OHS to properly risk assess any changes in process QA may implement.
- Perform relevant testing of existing products and processes or developing and implementing new ones.
- Creation and review or revision of policies that affect processes in a working environment ensuring complete compliance with regulatory requirements
- Create and conduct audit programs to review various processes in a work environment to ensure standards are being followed and continually improved
**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality issues
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- The ability to troubleshoot problems and 'think outside the box'
- Relevant industry experience is essential
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Sound knowledge of food microbiology and food chemistry
- Remain composed under pressure and able to work on multiple tasks ensuring the appropriate priorities are assessed and followed.
