About the Role
As our People & Culture Coordinator for the group, you’ll help shape our culture by attracting the right people to the business and supporting their development, engagement and retention. With a strong focus on recruitment, this role will play a key part in building a capable, values-aligned and engaged team.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee lifecycle, and offboarding processes.
* Support the delivery of People & Culture strategies, initiatives, and day-to-day operations across the Group.
* Provide administrative and operational support across People & Culture systems including Tanda, employee and training records, reporting, and compliance documentation.
* Assist managers with employee relations matters including performance management, workplace conduct and investigations.
* Coordinate training, compliance, licences, certifications, and employee development activities.
* Support the GM People & Culture with internal staff communications, employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and workplace events.
* Assist with the continuous improvement of People & Culture processes, systems, workplace culture, and operational practices.
* Support the GM People & Culture with strategic objectives, projects, reporting, and workforce initiatives i.e. performance reviews.
* Coordinate employee recognition, wellbeing, and engagement initiatives to promote workplace culture and retention.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee and business information.
* Provide monthly staff probationary reports to the Executive Group.
Compliance
* Maintain a general understanding of the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award, National Employment Standards (NES), and relevant employment legislation.
* Assist with ensuring compliance across employment practices, workplace policies, licences, certifications, and People & Culture procedures.
* Support managers with Award interpretation, employment conditions, and workplace compliance matters.
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR administration, generalist or recruitment role
* Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment with a strong eye for values alignment and cultural fit
* Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and ability to navigate relevant Modern Awards
* Proficiency in HR management systems (TANDA would be a bonus!) and Microsoft Office Suite
* High level communication (written & verbal) & interpersonal skills
* High-level organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Tertiary qualified in HR, business or a related field an advantage
