As we grow, we're looking for a talented Sous Chef ready to step up and eventually lead our kitchen.
The Role
This is more than just a kitchen job—it's a leadership pathway. You'll work closely with our Head Chef to deliver high-quality meals, mentor junior staff, and help shape the future of our food offering.
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead and support daily kitchen operations
 * Maintain consistency and quality across all dishes
 * Collaborate on seasonal menu development
 * Train and supervise kitchen team members
 * Uphold food safety and hygiene standards
 * Assist with stock control and supplier management
You'll Bring
 * 3+ years' experience in a busy kitchen, ideally as Sous Chef
 * Strong leadership and communication skills
 * A passion for pub-style food with flair
 * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
 * Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent culinary qualification is required
 * Minimum of 2+ years' experience specifically as a Sous Chef is required
