The Role We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician (ideally Navy background) to support a Defence training and capability project. Instead, you will provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to support: Training needs analysis (TNA) Review and validation of training content Input into course design and learning materials Ensuring technical accuracy of communications, radar, and combat system training Advising instructional designers and project teams. Location can be remote or any capital city. Potential Start Date – 1 June 2026. About You Key Requirements for this role: Background as an Electronics Technician (Navy or Defence preferred) Strong understanding of communications, radar, or combat systems Ability to translate technical experience into training and learning contexts Experience supporting training, mentoring, or instruction (highly regarded) Desirable: Experience with Defence training systems or frameworks Previous involvement in courseware development or review Exposure to learning systems (e.g. LMS, simulation, or blended training environments) What we offer With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra, we’re a tight-knit team, working across some of Australia’s most critical infrastructure and Defence projects.
