Introduction :
Powertech is a leading engineering service provider specialising in electrical and instrumentation (E&I), high-voltage systems, commissioning, and technical services. We serve key industries across Australia, including Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities, and Infrastructure.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented E&I Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an office-based role ideal for someone with 2-5 years of experience looking to take the next step in their career.
Description : Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and manage E&I projects from initiation to completion.
* Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
* Prepare and review project documentation including schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and technical specifications.
* Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
* Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.
* Support procurement and logistics coordination for E&I materials and equipment.
* Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project status.
* Ensure all documentation and reporting is completed accurately and submitted on time.
Requirements
* 2-5 years of experience in project management or coordination in an electrical and instrumentation (E&I) environment.
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, or Cert 3 Electrical and Instrumentation.
* Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of E&I systems, drawings, and specifications.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
* Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry regulations.
