We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Services Assistant to join our organization.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hospital, including wards and operating theatres. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is cleaned, restocked and stored properly.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital environment
* Clean and disinfect equipment and surfaces to prevent the spread of infection
* Remove waste and recyclables in a timely manner
* Work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals
* Adhere to infection control guidelines and principles at all times
Requirements
* National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months to ensure a safe working environment
* Working-With-Children check (if required) to verify suitability for the role
* Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases to prevent the risk of transmission
