What is the job?
Under the general direction of the Food and Beverage Outlet Manager or designate Manager and within the limited of established InterContinental Hotels Group provides a food and beverage service to guests in an unobtrusive and personalised manner consistent with established outlet operations policies and procedures.
Your day to day
* Be fully conversant with the menu and daily specials when taking orders from guests, upselling wherever possible
* Provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following hotel standards of performance
* Ensure all guest requests are actioned accordingly and presented correctly
* Adhere to policies for guidelines on presentation, grooming and punctuality
* Develop and maintain cohesive working relationships within immediate team, and wider hotel team
* Willing and able to work a flexible roster

* Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties in a way that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company
* Neat personal presentation
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (QLD RSA)
