About the role

What you'll be doing
* Manage the hotel's daily operations, including check-in/check-out processes, room assignments, and reservation handling
* Address guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction
* Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of hotel supplies and equipment
* Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance staff performance
* Liaise with other department heads to coordinate interdepartmental activities and ensure seamless operations
* Manage and report on key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive business growth
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or hospitality management role
* Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in pub/hotel management or similar hospitality establishment
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
* Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial reporting
* Thorough understanding of hospitality industry regulations, policies, and best practices
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
* Must have Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position
